American Plains Artists The APA is a nonprofit organization with a growing membership of both signature and associate members. Their focus is to educate the public through traditional and representational art works about the American Plains region including the landscape, wildlife, peoples and way of life in historical or modern times.
West Texas Watercolor Society This is a group of delightful watercolorists that extends membership to all persons interested in promoting the art of watercolor in West Texas. WTWS organizes various exhibitions, competitions, demonstrations and workshops in Lubbock, TX.

Haley Memorial Library and History Center The Haley is a professionally organized facility for research into the history of the Southwest through books, maps, artifacts and western art. It also houses the Texas Confederate Museum Collection.
Odessa American The Odessa American is the major newspaper serving Odessa, TX and the Permian Basin.
Odessa Council for the Arts & Humanities The council works to promote the arts and humanities in Odessa and Ector County.
Presidential Museum It is unique in that it is the only museum in the United States dedicated to the office of the presidency. It houses displays of artifacts, library of over 3,500 books and art related to the presidency. Three of the commissioned portraits were created by Clyde Heron.
